Symptoms/Side Effects of Pyrazinamide (PZA)
Your doctor has decided that you need PZA treatment. It is important for your health and the health of others that you take your medication as instructed every day. Please let the Immunization and Travel Clinic nurse or doctor know if you develop any of these symptoms:
Fever
General tired feeling
Muscle aches
Loss of appetite
Abdominal pain
Nausea and vomiting
Dark urine
Pale stools
Allergic reaction
Before taking this drug, inform your physician if:
You have a history of liver problems
You have a history of gout
You have diabetes
Your are pregnant or breastfeeding
Take your medication in the prescribed amount every day and return for follow-up visits.
